Going for a checkride in an LSA (x2)
When I'm done, I'm gonna up and fly away.
Fifteen hours of dual, five of solo flight (x2)
Oughta be enough to learn to do it right.
One thing I am dreading is departure stalls. (x2)
Flight instructor tells me I ain't got the... nerve.
Flying just in daytime, only VFR (x2)
Good enough to take me, take me where you are.
Never knew a pilot didn't have a grin (x2)
Grin to push the throttle when the flight begins.
Fifty knots on final, with the flaps full down. (x2)
Gotta keep you ready for that go-around.
Foot above the runway, and you start to flare. (x2)
When you hear the mains chirp, then you know you're there.
When I've passed my checkride, only one concern. (x2)
Hardly scratched the surface; so much more to learn.
When the checkride's over, what's a guy do? (x2)
