    Claiming FAA WINGS and AMT Award Credit    

In his volunteer capacity as an FAA Safety Team Lead Representative, Prof. H. Paul Shuch presents, on a strictly non-commercial basis, free bimonthly online webinars through the Experimental Aircraft Association. These webinars are offered in the interest of improving pilot skills and reducing aviation accidents. Individuals registering in advance, and participating in real time, automatically receive credit toward the FAA WINGS and/or AMT (aviation maintenance technician) awards. The webinars are also archived for later viewing. Those tuning in to view the presentations on the Experimental Aircraft Association website or the free AvSport archives are also eligible for WINGS/AMT award credit from the FAA Safety Team. Here is the procedure for requesting it:

1. View one of Prof. Shuch's webinars from our Archives
2. Log in to your FAA Safety Team account
3. Browse to https://www.faasafety.gov/WINGS/pub/accreditedactivities/activitySearch.aspx
4. Type "EAA Webinars" into the keywords box
5. Under "activity type," click the checkbox in front of "other activities"
6. Click "Perform Search"
7. Scroll down through the list to find the appropriate webinar
8. Click the webinar title to bring up Accredited Activity Information
9. Under "Accredited Activity Validation Request", enter in the box the date you viewed the webinar.
10. Next to "select a validator," click the "name" tab.
11. In the Last Name box, type "Shuch"
12. Click "search"
13. Click on Professor Shuch's name
14. Click "Request Credit"
