Muriel Hykes hated computers in college, back in the batch-processed Hollerith card era. Then, along came PCs and the Internet. Now, she can't imagine life without broadband access. She says the Web is like having the Alexandria Library in her living room. She maintains Microcomm's wired and wireless LANs, and DSL connection, and specializes in training the computer-phobic (especially women who mistakenly believe themselves to be technologically challenged) to make the most of this wonderful resource.
