We at Microcomm are primarily engineers. Even our patent attorney was an engineer before he entered the legal profession. And, we all have lives. Thus (unlike other professions, that somehow manage to produce 25 or more work hours per day), we believe that a work day contains no more than 8 billable hours per person.

Since our time is limited, and our services are in demand, we allocate our available hours on a first-come, first-served basis. The best way to lock in the services of Microcomm for your engineering projects is to sign our Consulting Agreement, and remit the negotiated retainer fee in a timely manner. We will begin work on a given project promptly upon completion of these business formalities.

Because we are a finite resource, in order to receive the best possible service we ask that you please email our Chief Engineer well in advance, to verify availability of the appropriate personnel.

Please note that Microcomm is a sole proprietorship, wholly owned by Dr. Shuch, who may choose to retain Mr. Unger, Hs. Hykes, Mr. Pawlan, and Dr. Carver as subcontractors where appropriate. Contracts requiring the combined skills of the Microcomm leadership team should be negotiated through Dr. Shuch. Microcomm's clients are of course also free to retain these professionals individually, and may contact them directly for this purpose.
