The Temple has used the Mitkadem program as a base for teaching Hebrew, supplemented by other materials. The Mitkadem curriculum was designed by Cheri Ellowitz Silver, M.A.J.E., and allows students to work at their own pace. With the 23 ramot, or levels, students can work independently, with another student at a similar level, or with another student in a "tutorial" relationship, as well as volunteer parents. In the Mitkadem program, students learn roots and words that are used in the prayers, which provides an understanding of some words commonly used in prayers at services.
