| Microcomm Consulting is a custom electronic design and development house, specializing in microwave communications circuits and systems. First established in California's Silicon Valley in 1975, the company is best known for having produced the world's first commercial home satellite TV receiver. Microcomm entered an extended hiatus in 1990, when its founder, distinguished engineering professor Dr. H. Paul Shuch, moved East at the behest of his academic career. Thirty years after his company's founding, and upon his (first) retirement from academia, Prof. Shuch again hung out his shingle, partnering with four longtime associates to resurrect one of the most revered names in telecommunications. |
