Dear Principal and Staff,
I had a blast last year at Halloween at school and now I hear you guys are taking it away. I'm glad I got out when I did. I'm Bryn Bailey, 11, you staff probably know me. I'm in 6th grade now, thankfully. Don't you think it's kind of mean to take away their Halloween parade? If some people think that Halloween is like witchcraft that's their problem. You shouldn't spoil it for the other kids.

I feel sorry for the little kids in kindergarten who can't dress up like Cookie Monster. They will just have to go as Dan Quayle. "Hi Fred, want to hear me spell potato 'P-A-T-O-E'. See I did it." Or having to go as General Lee, somebody he knows nothing about. He goes to school and somebody asks him what he is supposed to be and he doesn't have the foggiest idea. I suggested that my brother and his friends go as the Ku Klux Klan. If you have a patriotic theme even fewer kids will come. They'll stay home and have their own Halloween party.

Please Reconsider!
